As for the 26th, the division boss at the city hall nixed us using the field. He said that the field had to be fertilized. We can reserve it for September of next year if we want to have an event though.

Lorna has found some connections in Uchinada though, so most likely we will have a game that day with a University team there.

I don't think I got connections with the uni team. Sadly. But I did get drunk with a guy last night who said he'll sort out some games with his team and other teams he knows for you guys.

The ground in Uchinada opposite the JHS is pretty much booked up during the day but is free of an evening. What do you lot think about playing in the evenings? Bad Idea?

Maybe you could go down to Kanaiwa Port and pick up some Russian sailors to play football with. Again, Lorna's got a connection  You don't wanna lose though
Jackie Treehorn: People forget that the brain is the biggest erogenous zone.
The Dude: On you maybe.

Can either of you guys write some directions to the school from the Uchinada Eki. It's the same field that we played on last time right? The one with the proper stands?
It's been a while so I could use a reminder of how to get there, plus for all the newbies that are coming. When I get that, I'll send out another email.
Cheers

According to the Massive's post, no we're not at the same ground as before, we are at Uchinada High School. To get there, just head up towards the beach from the eki and turn right soon after you cross the big main road that leads up to the yuryo. I don't remember in any more detail than that, but remember it being pretty easy to find. Call Phil or Fiona if you need more detailed directions!

Why 10am though!? That's still my Sunday sleeping time!

Just wanted to say thanks to Phil for setting up the game yesterday.
It was great fun trouncing them 6:4 or was it 6:3?
We'll be sorry to lose Doctor Pete (which he should no be refered to as such, that our Doctor Aussie Pete, or DAPy for short) though it was nice he went out with a scoring PK kick. Even though it was as cold as my nipples, it was great fun and I'll be sorry to say goodbye to outdoor soccer for the next few months.
Cheers everyone and I'll see you inside in Nakanoto
P.S.
Don't forget we're playing American Football next Sunday, along the Saigawa, left of the blue bridge, at 12 I think.

26th

Postby thelush » Tue Nov 14, 2006 5:18 pm

It seems as though the other team can't make the 26th. So if there's another date you lot feel like having a match, let me know and I'll try to set something up. If not, I'll tell them that we might have to take a rain check until spring.
