Summer Road Trip To Tohoku

Postby n4c0n » Thu Jul 24, 2008 12:01 pm

So I'm taking a summer road trip to the very top of Honshu, and I'm looking for people to go with me. I'm leaving on August 2nd and will be gone for about two weeks. I'm planning on taking surface roads and camping the whole time; bathing with be done at public baths.

I have a 3 person tent, but only one sleeping bag.

I've got one person interested so far. They plan on going with me on the first half of the trip and eventually catching a train back home.

I know it's only about a week away, but if you wanna join me on my trip, or even just part of it, PM me or get in touch with me other ways if you know them.

Here is a list of places that I plan to see:
仏ヶ浦(ほとけヶうら) more great coast
大間崎(おおまざき) northern most pt. on honshu
浄土ヶ浜(じょうどがはま) nice little bit of coastline
松島(まつしま) one of japan’s 3 scenic sites
仙台(せんだい) biggest city in touhoku area
